Verb Practice
This verb drill helps you learn the principal parts of verbs. It shows each principal part (dictionary form we use to form the verbs) - try to guess each one at a time, and it shows the meaning of each verb at the bottom.
Parseworks - Mounce's parsing program, with verbs - choose N/A for case and gender, as they don't apply for verbs.
This great youtube video will help with pronunciation, as they speak in biblical Greek, with all of it captioned at the bottom. It also is meant to teach the Greek verb to give, didwmi. See if you can pause the video, find a verb of the verb, and parse it - give the person, number, tense, voice, and mood (we are working in indicative).

Basic noun practice
Nouns - Below are some basic noun declensions practice and explanations. I'll continue to add more detailed material as we go on.
A powerpoint presentation by Robert Wermuth that explains noun uses and endings in a little different way.
A great noun parsing drill - click "start" and then choose the correct part of speech from the top and parse by choosing the correct option from each column. Click "check ans." to check your answer. You can select from any unit.
Mounce's Parseworks exercises for nouns in chapter 7 - good parsing practice. You can try other chapters as well by using the arrows at the top of the page.
The noun overview I created that we used in class. Click or download for another view or if you need a new copy.

Alphabet and Pronunciation Practice
First things first, right? The links below will help with learning the Greek alphabet and pronunciation.
Learn the Greek alphabet/pronunciation by singing: Steve Singleton has some videos on youtube which can help with remembering and using your Greek pronunciation, with well-known verses or hymns translated in Greek and set to familiar tunes.
Matthew 6:33 to the tune of "Seek ye first"
Alphabet: There are many versions of a Greek alphabet song online. Here are a couple I found helpful:
- Simple alphabet song - a little cheesy, with an old SNL reference to the "more cowbell" skit - but anyway, the Greek alphabet song is great!
- To the tune of the hymn "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty" - the alphabet starts at about 3:30 - but is good with the letters spelled out for pronunciation - sadly, as the rest of the video is in Chinese, I cannot understand it! :)
- To the tune of "twinkle, twinkle" (like our English alphabet song) - the alphabet starts at about the 1 minute mark in the video.
Pronunciation Practice: Practice pronouncing each word, then click to hear the pronunciation and check yourself.
